AMBIKASUTHAN MANGAD
Ambikasuthan Mangad was born in Bara village of Kasaragod district. He earned his M.A. and M.Phil. degrees with top ranks and obtained a Ph.D. in the field of “Concept of Time in Short Stories.” In 2002, he was awarded the Kerala State Television Award for Best Short Story for Commercial Break. He served as the editor of Jeevithathinte Upamayum (the first campus novel anthology) and Ponjari (the first regional language dictionary). He has published four books of literary criticism. His first novel was Marakkappile Theyyangal, and Enmakaje has been translated into Kannada, Tamil, and English. Many of his short stories have been translated into various Indian languages and English. Ambikasuthan Mangad retired as the Head of the Malayalam Department from Nehru College, Kanhangad. He has received 27 prestigious awards, including the Karoor, Edasseri, Anganam, Cherukad, Abu Dhabi Shakthi, Malayattoor Prize, V.T. Bhattathiripad, SBT, Kovilan, and V.P. Sivakumar Keli Awards
NAYANA VYDEHI SURESH
Nayana Vydehi Suresh was born in 1993 in Chittanjur Desham near Kunnamkulam in Thrissur district. She completed her undergraduate studies at Little Flower College, Guruvayur, followed by a postgraduate diploma in media studies from Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, and a postgraduate degree in media studies along with a diploma in counselling from Bharathiar University. Her notable works include Lanki, Pembarannothi, and Orumbettol. She is married to Suresh A. and has two children, Prithvidev and Harshika.
DILEEP V
V. Dileep was born in Mokeri, Kozhikode district. He holds postgraduate degrees in Journalism and Communication. He regularly writes short stories and essays in various periodicals. His stories have earned him several accolades including the K. A. Kodungallur Award, Ankanam Award, and the State Institute of Children’s Literature Award. Some of his notable works include Theeyil Alakkiya Vasthrangal (Clothes Washed in Fire), Garbha Pathrathilirunnu Samsarikkunnu (Speaking from the Womb), Swavargam (Homosexuality), Mimicry, Oru Cinemakathayile Nayakanum Avante Villanum (The Hero and Villain in a Film Story), Vamshagathakal Moolum Talkies (Talkies Echoing Lineage), and Abhimanyuvinte Thoppi (Abhimanyu’s Cap). He currently works as a teacher at St. Antony’s Higher Secondary School, Pudukad, Thrissur.
