SHANOJ R. CHANDRAN
Shanoj R. Chandran native of Pullangady in Alappuzha district, to G Ramachandran and TK Vijayakumari. The story ‘Ambalappuzha Sisters‘ is included in the MA Malayalam syllabus of Thunchathezhuthachchan Malayalam University, and the story ‘Antarvahini‘ is included in the BA Malayalam syllabus of MG University.
He has won the Mathrubhumi Vishupathip Katha Sammanam, the Kerala State Chalachitra Academy Short Screenplay Award, etc. He is the director of the film ‘Oru Barberinte Katha‘, a production venture of the State Chalachitra Academy. DC Books published ‘Kalodinja Punyalan‘, which is the first collection of stories. The book won the Ayanam – CV Sreeraman Story Award, the Udaya Literary Award, and the first TN Prakash Literary Award.
SANGEETHA SREENIVASAN
Sangeetha Sreenivasan is an accomplished novelist, translator, and literary figure who writes in both Malayalam and English. Sreenivasan’s literary journey extends beyond her own writing, as she has also earned recognition for her translations of notable international works. Some of her most significant translations include Acid, Budhini, and Stain. Other works include Aparakanthi, Vellimeenchaattam, Shalabham Pookal Aeroplane.
Her novels have earned critical acclaim and several prestigious awards, with her works published by prominent publishers such as Penguin Random House India, and DC Books, Kerala. She won the Kerala Sahitya Akademi Translation Award in 2021 for her translation of The Days of Abandonment by Elena Ferrante. Her remarkable work has also earned her other accolades, including the Malayattoor Prize, Thoppil Ravi Award, Nooranad Hanifa Novel Award, Vanitha Kalasahithi Award, Akshara Sthri Sahitya Puraskaram, and She the People Women Writer’s Prize for her translation of Budhini, a novel by Sarah Joseph.
S GIRISH KUMAR
S. Girishkumar was born in Changanassery in 1982. His parents are Somasekharan Pillai and Omana. He studied at Changanassery N.S.S. Hindu College and Madras University. He holds M.A., M.Phil. and PhD degrees in literature. His other works are Adikaravum Prathirodavum Anushtana Kalakalili , Introduction to Postcolonial Literature, Gandhamadana Girinirakalil, Introduction to Psychoanalysis (Translation), and Campus Bhashayude Samuhika Swabhavam. He is currently a Malayalam teacher at Sree Keralavarma College, Thrissur. His works include Alingam and Thottichamari. He received the Edassery Award for Criticism in 2016. His first novel Alingam was selected as one of the five novels considered for the DC Literary Award in 2018.
SHYLAN
Shylan Saliendrakumar, known by his pen name Shylan, is a Malayalam language poet, film critic, travelogue writer and columnist from Malappuram. He has authored numerous acclaimed works including Nishkasithante Easter, Vettaikkaran, Rashtramee Mamsa and his travelogue titled Nooru Nooru Yatragal. His accolades include Manoj Memorial Poetry Award, Kanjikavu Kunjikrishnan Smaraka Kavitha Puraskaram and Shravasti Award.
RADHALAKSHMI PADMARAJAN
Radhalakshmi Padmarajan was born in Chittoor, Palakkad district. She studied at Govt. Victoria Girls’ High School and Chittoor Government College. Her works include Padmarajan Ente Gandharvan, Ormakalil Thuvanamai Padmarajan, Kalathinte Vakshassil Oromathuruth (Orma), Thanalidam (Novel) and Manjuthuyile Sooryareshmikal.
RAJEEV SIVASANKAR
Rajeev Sivashankar was born in Konni Mangaram Karuvallil house in Pathanamthitta district. His spouse is P.S. Rajasree. Works include Kalpramanam, Putrasuktham, Karl Marx, Kailasam Veedu, Divyam, Jalam (novels), Maraanvaridhi (novelette), and Goodham (story). His work Pranasancharam won the Thoppil Ravi Award and the Daivamarathile Ila won Manoraj Memorial Story Award. He is currently an assistant editor at the Kottayam unit of Malayala Manorama. He is an award winner in the Mathrubhumi short story competition.
SREEDHARAN PILLAI P S
Adv. P. S. Sreedharan Pillai is one of the prominent lawyers of present-day Kerala. He is actively practising in the district courts and the High Court from Thiruvananthapuram to Kasaragod. His spouse is Adv. K. Reetha and children are Adv. Arjun Sridhar, Dr Arya Arun. Adv: Arun Krishnan and Dr Gypsa Arjun are children-in-law. Has been appointed as Special Prosecutor by the UDF-LDF governments in 12 important cases. Former State President of the BJP, Member of the National Executive Committee, Founder of the BJP in Lakshadweep, Member of the Kerala BJP Core Committee.
He is a successful lawyer, a former politician, an organiser par excellence, an orator, a prolific writer, a philanthropist and a thinker. A bilingual author, he writes both in English and Malayalam on topics such as politics, social and legal issues and poetry. So far, he has written more than 130 books, including 15 poetry collections in Malayalam and English. He served as the former governor of Goa. His works include Ente Priyakathakal and Prathibhakal Prathibhasangal. He has received 27 awards, including 8 literary awards. He has received awards from 6 governors. These include Mother Teresa Service Award, Sri Guruji Sevana Award, S. K. Pottakad Sahithya Award, Chilla Magazine Award, etc.
SUNU A.V
Sunu A.V. was born on 21 December 1992 in Ezhilodu, Kannur district, to Surendran and Padmini. His spouse is C.M. Manjusha.School education at Puracherry Govt. UP School and Kunhimangalam Govt. HSS. He completed his B.A. in Malayalam from Madayi College and his post-graduate degree in Journalism from Kannur University Campus Mangattuparambu. His works include Indian Poocha. He has won the Thunchan Memorial’s Calcutta Kairali Samajam Endowment and the second place in the short story writing competition organised by Mathrubhumi in connection with the International Literary Festival.
SUSMESH CHANDROTH
Susmesh Chandroth was born on April 1, 1977. His stories have been translated and published as textbooks. He currently lives in Kolkata. His works include Nithya Sameel, 9 (NINE), Athmachaya, Apasarpa Parabhramhamoorthi, Ente Makal Olichodum Munpu, Vibavari, Malineevidhamaya Jeevitham, Deshathinte Rathihasam ect. He has received several awards, including the first Yuva Puraskar of the Kendra Sahitya Akademi.
DEVADAS VM
Devadas V. M. was born in 1981 in Vadakkanchery, Thrissur district. Works in an IT company in Chennai. His works include Avanavan Thuruthu, Cheepum Panthum, Maranasahayi, Era, and Kadinu Nadukoru Maram.
