Mrudul V M

Mrudul V M is an upcoming Malayalam author and screenwriter. He is the recipient of several prestigious accolades such as the Kolkata Kairali Thunchan Memorial Story Award, the Thakazhi Short Story Award, the Basheer Short Story Award instituted by the Information and Public Relations Department and the V P Manoharan Memorial Story Award, among others. Kule is his first published collection of short stories.

Ajijesh Pachat

Ajijesh Pachat is a renowned author from Malappuram writing in Malayalam. He has written various novels, short stories and memoirs. His wide array of awards includes the Anganam E.P Sushama Endowment Award, the P.N Panicker Story Award, the Aziz Memorial Story Award, the Sahitya Academy Geethahiranyan Endowment among others. KisebiDaivakaliKoova are his short story collections. Ezhampathippinte AdyapratiAthirazhisoothram, Kayalkandam RouteOrankutti Vangiya Arthavapoovu are his other works. 

Indulekha

Trained in Carnatic Music and Kathakali Sangeetham Indulekha is a famous playback singer, storyteller and rapper from Thrissur. She made her playback debut in 2014 through the Malayalam Movie Apothecary and has worked with eminent music directors like Vidyasagar, Ouseppachan, Kaithapram Viswanathan, Mohan Sithara, Sharreth, Ravi Basrur and singer P Jayachandran. Her latest film song is from the Multilingual Blockbuster Movie ‘Salaar’. In 2020 she released her first rap single titled ‘Penn Rap’ which won her the Change Makers of Kerala Award 2023 given by Kerala Arts and Crafts village and Kerala Tourism department. She conducts online and offline workshops for school children as well as teachers on storytelling and Kavitha recitals called Induvum Kurunnukalum. This has been well received among Keralites within and outside of the country. Recently she gained popularity for her content focusing on Malayalam poems and short stories for kids which is presented in the form of an interaction between a mother and son. Her rendition of Aanakomban, a poem by Shri NK Desham, while feeding her son Sarang gained a lot of attention in the media in Kerala recently.

Indu Menon

Indu Menon is a renowned creative writer and sociologist. Her works have been included in university syllabi and translated to English, German, Arabic, Tamil, Hindi and Telugu. She is the recipient of several state, national and international awards. A regular contributor to popular periodicals in Malayalam for more than 30 years, she has extensive experience in anthropological research and investigation, training and museum research, particularly in shamanism, social organization, tribal language, myths etc. Her works include three novels, seven short story collections, four memoirs, two poetry collections, two translations, one monograph and six edited works. AnnavettaEnte Katha Ente PennungaludeyumThe Lesbian Cow And Other Stories and Janafres: Oru Kodiya Kamukan are a few among her wide array of publications. Indu Menon is currently a lecturer of Anthropology/Sociology at the Kerala Institute of Research, Training and Development Studies of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (KIRTADS), a Government of Kerala Research Institute. 

N Hari

N Hari is an upcoming Malayalam author. He is a frequent contributor to several contemporary publications. He currently serves as an Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police at Alappuzha. Apasarppakan, a collection of short stories, is his most recent publication.

Anjana Sankar

Anjana Sankar is a senior journalist at Abu-Dhabi based The National newspaper. Her 20-plus year career in journalism has focused on stories of migration, conflict and gender with a particular emphasis on the Middle East, from where she has reported at the frontlines of global conflicts. As the 2024 Elizabeth Neuffer Fellow, she worked at the Boston Globe and New York Times in the US while pursuing research at MIT on migration and human rights. 

E Santhosh Kumar

E Santhosh Kumar is a well-known novelist and short story writer. He is the recipient of the Kerala Sahitya Akademi award for Short Story Collection as well as Novel. He has published more than 25 books that include novels, story collections, children’s literature, essays and translation. His works, which include ChavukaliNarakangalude UpamaAndhakaranazhiNjaanabharam and Tapomoyude Achan, have been translated into English, Tamil, Kannada, Bengali, Hindi, Gujarati, German and Arabic.

Unnikrishnan Kidangoor

Unnikrishnan Kidangoor is a noted author writing in Malayalam. An active contributor to several contemporary publications, he has so far published ten works of children’s literature. Unnikrishnan Kidangoor is currently the Managing Editor of Jingle Bell Creations, a feature syndicate. His debut short story collection is titled Pontha.

Vinil Paul

Vinil Paul is an author, a passionate educator and researcher, committed to examining the intricate social and cultural transformations that have shaped Kerala’s history. His research spans a wide array of topics, including slavery, Protestant Christian missionary movements, Dalit Christian histories, colonial hunting practices, agricultural labourers and global history. His notable works include Adima Keralathinte Adrushya CharithramMrugaya: Keralathinte Nayattucharithram and Dalit Charithradamshanam. Dr. Vinila Paul is an Assistant Professor of History at Fatima Mata National College, Kollam

Hrishikeshan PB

Hrishikeshan PB is a well-known author and translator. He has translated poems from Marathi and many other Indian Languages into Malayalam and his works have also been translated into English, Hindi and Marathi. His works have attained him many acclaimed accolades such as the Changampuzha Award for poetry, the Abu-Dhabi Sakti Award and Moodadi Damodaran Award among KanathavunnavarPathi Polliyoraksharam and Kannadipuzha are some among his publications. He retired from professional service as the Scientific Officer at the Department of Atomic Energy, Mumbai.
