M.R. Renukumar is an acclaimed poet, painter and translator. His oeuvre spans across different genres like poetry, children’s literature, studies and translations. His poetry collections Veshakkaya and Kothiyan won the 2008 SBT Award and the 2019 Kerala Sahitya Academy Poetry Award, respectively. His work Aracycle won the FOKANA Award and his work Nalam Classile Varal won the Best Children’s Literature Award instituted by the Children’s Literature Institute. M R Renukumarinte Kavithakal is his most recent collection of poetry.

K Rekha is a short story writer. Her major works include Angamaliyile Mangakkariyum Villuvandiyum Mattu Kathakalum, Ninnil Charunna Nerath, and Arudeyo Oru Saghavu: Anthikkattukari.

Christian Kracht is a widely acclaimed Swiss novelist whose work has been translated into 30 languages. His novels include Faserland, 1979, Imperium and Die Toten. Imperium was the recipient of the Wilhelm Raabe Literature Prize and Die Toten won the Swiss Book Prize and the Herman Hesse Award. Eurotrash, his most recent work, is under option for film, and was shortlisted for the Deutscher Buchpreis, the Leipziger Buchpreis, and is a finalist for the Schweizer Grand Prix Literatur.

An esteemed author, feminist and academician, C S Chandrika is a trailblazer in the field of Malayalam literature. A front-line activist of the Kerala Feminist Movement of the 90’s, she is also active as a director, researcher and columnist. Her works have been translated into various languages like English, Kannada and Tamil. Her major works include Ladies Compartment, Keralathile Sthree Munnettathinte Charithram, Kleptomania and Ente Pachakkarimbe. 18 Pranayakathal is one among her most recent works.

Anvar Ali is a renowned poet and lyricist, critic, translator, screenwriter, and documentary filmmaker. His first collection of poems, Mazhakkalam established him as a prominent voice in contemporary Malayalam poetry and some of his other works include Aadiyaadi Alanja Marangale, Mehaboob Express, Eternal Sculptures and Njan Rappai among others. Ali’s poems have been translated into various Indian and foreign languages and has been accoladed with Kunchu Pillai Award, 65th Filmfare Awards South for Best Lyricist and CPC Cine Awards for Best Original Songs to name a few.

K R Meera is a distinguished author widely regarded as one of the leading voices in contemporary Malayalam literature. The author of the critically acclaimed Aarachar, she is the recipient of several prestigious accolades such as the Kerala Sahitya Academy Award, the Kendra Sahitya Academy Award, the Vayalar Award, the Odakuzhal Award, the Geetha Hiranyan Award and the P Padmarajan Memorial Award, amongst others. The English translation of Aarachar, titled Hangwoman, was shortlisted for the prestigious DSC Prize for South Asian Literature 2016. Her stories and novels have also been translated into several languages. Ave Maria, Qabar, Suryane Aninja Oru Sthree, Yudasinte Suvishesham and Bhagavante Maranam are a few of her other esteemed publications.

Sreeparvathy is a renowned Malayalam author and independent journalist. She is widely known for her riveting crime fiction novels. Having started writing in the romantic genre, Meenukal Chumbikumbol and Pranyappathi are her unexpendable works. Mystic Mountain, Nayika Agatha Christie, Poetry Killer and Violet Pookkalude Maranam are a few of her notable publications.

Dr. K. Vasuki IAS is a distinguished civil servant currently serving as the Labour Commissionerate within the Government of Kerala. With a strong academic background and extensive administrative experience, Dr. Vasuki has made significant contributions to labour and employment matters in the state.
