Majeed Syed was born in Vaikom, Kottayam district. He studied at Thalayolaparan Govt. Boys High School and Devaswom College. Now residing near Shimoga, Karnataka he balances his life between farming and writing. He writes stories and articles in various periodicals. He has published a novel called Chenpilammini Kolakes.

A prominent Malayalam author known for his short stories, novels, and screenplays. His first short story collection Penvaathil was published by DC Books. Akhila Loka Aadu Company and Karu are two of his other notable works.

Venugopalan Kokkodan was born in 1972 in Kanjileri near Malur in Kannur district and grew up in Eruvatty, between Thalassery and Koothuparamba. His parents are Thevarathil Kunjikannan and Mangalat Kanchanavalli. Jisha is his spouse, and their children are Parvati and Devaki. After completing his high school education in Ponniam Chundangapoyil, he studied at Nirmalagiri College, Koothuparamba ITI, and Kannur Polytechnic. He then worked in Mumbai for about ten years. He obtained a diploma in computer engineering from CMS Institute, Mumbai. After short stints in the Middle East and London, he has been living in Virginia, USA, since 2004, working as a software engineer. He used to write poems and stories during his studies. Fr. Bobby Jose Kattikadu was born in Thumboli, Alappuzha district. A priest in the Capuchin Order is a prominent figure in spiritual discourses. He has published several philosophical works, including Aval, Ordinary, Sanchariyude Daivam and Koott, to name a few. He also serves as the editor of the magazine Manushyasnehi.

Soman Katalur was born in 1970 in Katalur village, Kozhikode district. Dr Soman Katalur is a distinguished scholar, poet, writer and illustrator. He completed his Postgraduate degree in Malayalam language and literature from Govt. Brennan College. He did his postgraduate degree in folklore from Calicut University with first rank. PhD in the subject of sketching and literary appreciation from Sree Shankaracharya Sanskrit University. Authored about twenty-five works. His works include Kanimeen, Puliyan, Nashtappadukal, Enik Nee Marikunnilalo, etc. He received about seven awards, including the Kerala Folklore Academy Award. Currently, he is a Malayalam teacher in the Plus Two section of JNM Government Higher Secondary School in Puthuppanam, Vadakara.

Anand was born in Irinjalakuda in 1936, the son of a primary school teacher. He graduated from the Thiruvananthapuram Engineering College in 1958. From 1958 to 1994, he served in various institutions and places, including a four-year short service commission in the Army. He currently lives in Delhi. His works include Aalkkoottam, Govardhante Yathrakal, Marubhoomikal Undakunnathu, Abhayarthikal, Apaharikkapetta Daivangal, Samharathinte Pusthakam, Jaivamanushyan, Vyaasanum Vighneswaranum, Marana Certificate, etc.

C.S. Chandrika was born in Peringottukkara, Thrissur district, to Sankaran C.M. and Bhargavi V.R. A leading activist of the feminist movement active in Kerala in the nineties, an early organiser of the Malayalam Women’s Theatre, actress, director, story writer, novelist, feminist, researcher, columnist, and activist. She holds a bachelor’s degree in botany, a master’s degree in Malayalam literature and women’s studies, and a doctorate in fine arts from Kozhikode University on the subject of “Gender and Theatre”. She has translated stories into English, Tamil, and Kannada. Her major works include Pira, Kaanthal, Ladies Compartment, Keralathile Sthree Munnettathinte Charithram, and Kleptomania, among others.

Lieutenant (Dr.) Deepu P. Kurup was born on 9 April 1983 in Thottakkad Deepalayam to Prabhakara Kurup and Chandramathi Amma. He is a writer and educator, currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Malayalam Department at N. S. S. College, Nilamel.  e completed his graduation in Malayalam literature from S.N. College, Kollam, his post-graduation from Mahatma Gandhi College, Thiruvananthapuram, his graduation in education from Arkannur Teacher Education Centre and his Master of Philosophy from University College, Thiruvananthapuram. He also received his doctorate from the Malayalam department of the University of Kerala on the subject of ‘Cartoon Influence on O.V. Vijayan’s Creative Literature’. He has worked as a teacher at M. G. College, Thiruvananthapuram and NSS College, Ottappalam. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Malayalam department of N.S.S. College, Nilamel. He is also working as an ANO in NCC One Kerala Battalion, Varkala. Bhadrakalipattu History, Society, Culture, O.V. Vijayan Story and Cartoon, Cartoon Narration and Malayalam Literature, Literature History Culture- New Readings, and Hantha Bhagyam Jananaam are his works. His works include Mukilan, Kannaki, etc.
