Mukesh was born on November 3, 1961, in Kollam. His parents are O. Madhavan, a theatre actor and composer and famous theatre and film actress Vijayakumari. Graduated in law from Thiruvananthapuram Law Academy. Has acted in more than 250 films. Was the chairman of the Sangeetha Nataka Akademi. Represented the Kollam assembly constituency for two consecutive terms. His works include Mukesh Reloaded, Mukesh Babu And Party In Dubai and Mukesh Kathakal Veedum.
