AKHIL K
Akhil K is a young Malayalam author of note. Neelachadayan, his debut short story collection, won the 2022 Geetha Hiranyan Endowment Award of the Kerala Sahitya Academy. His recognitions include the Youth Icon Award instituted by Kerala State Youth Commission and the Indian Writers Forum, OV Vijayan Memorial Young Literary Award. Simhathinte Katha, Tharakanthan and the recent work Muthappan are his published novels.

Anil Devassi was born on December 10, 1985, in Chalakudy, Thrissur district, to Devassi and Reetha. Soma is his wife, and his son is Anay Nevin. He studied at Chalakudy Govt. Boys High School and Calicut University. He has been living in Dubai for the past five years. He works at Al-Ansari Exchange. He has won second place in the Karoor Neelakanth Pillai Memorial Short Story Competition organized as part of the International Literary Festival organized by the state government, Nanma C.V. Sreeraman Story Award, Kalakaumudi Story Award, Dubai Palm Aksharathulika Story Award, Punnapra Fine Arts Story Award, Wayanad Sreelatha Teacher Memorial Short Story Award, and Palakkad Film Society Award. His works include Ya Ilahi Times, Kasa Pilasa, Kamarooni and Olikkali.
