DC Books has been shortlisted for the prestigious Aficionado Award 2026, which honours original and inspiring publishing initiatives and collaborations. Govind Deecee of DC Books was invited to Turin, Italy, for the official shortlist announcement.
The Aficionado Award is a global initiative created to connect, support, and celebrate innovative voices in publishing. It is organised in collaboration with Frankfurter Buchmesse and Salone Internazionale del Libro di Torino.

Terms & Condition
- The competition is open to school students aged 8–17 years only. Participants will be grouped into two categories: 8–12 years and 13–17 years.
- Participants must register online within the competition period. A registration fee of ₹299 must be paid online. Registration fee is non-refundable.
- Registered participants can purchase DC Books worth ₹399 from DC / Current Bookstores. This offer is only for book purchases and cannot be combined with other offers or discounts.
- Participants must submit one original book review of maximum 350 words in Malayalam or English only. Reviews must be uploaded in Image or PDF format.
- The review must be the participant’s own work. AI-generated or copied content is not allowed and will lead to disqualification. Participants may be asked to provide proof of originality.
- Incorrect information, multiple registrations, or violation of rules will result in disqualification.
- The competition period is March 2 to June 30, 2026. Late submissions will not be accepted.
- Entries will be evaluated by a panel appointed by DC Books based on understanding, creativity, and clarity. The decision of DC Books will be final.
- All participants will receive certificates. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- DC Books reserves the right to verify details and use submitted reviews for promotional purposes.
