SUMITHRA JAYAPRAKASH

Sumithra Jayaprakash was born in Kozhikode to Shankarankutty alias S.K. Pottekatt and Jaya Pottekatt. Her spouse is K. Jayaprakash. During her student days, she was an active worker of S. F. I. and worked as a school leader. Her memoir, published in the Mathrubhumi weekly, received the ‘Aksharam’ award of the All Kerala Arts and Literature Association. She also worked as the Vice President of the S.K. Pottekatt Samskarika Kendram. She has visited about seven foreign countries. She has authored the work Achananu Ente Desam
