Akhila K S

Akhila K S is a noted Malayalam author. She was born in Neyyattinkara. She is the daughter of Kochukunju Adissheran and Saraladevi. She has published many short stories. They have been published in periodicals, including Mathrubhumi and Samakalika Malayalam. She is the author of Swapnangal Neyunna Penkutty, Veru Pookkunna Maram, Magic Home, Koottikodupukkarum Viswasikalum, Naavu, and Ore Niramulla Randu Vakkukal. Dr. Akhila K S currently works as Managing Director of Akore Formulations. She holds a postgraduate degree in Ayurveda. At present, Akhila K S is the Managing Director of Accor Formulations Private Limited.

M P Lipin Raj

M P Lipin Raj is a Civil Servant and writer who passed the All India Civil Services Examination in 2012. He is a novelist, columnist and short story writer. He is the brand ambassador of the NGO – Walk with a Civil Servant, a free civil service training project. Lipin Raj received UNICEF’s Youth Leadership Award in 2009. His first short story collection is titled Golden Frog. His prominent works include A Phoenix with Broken Wings, Mapini, Aanayum Puliyumillatha Kadha, Elimination Round, Padam Onnu: Athmavishwasam, Thenurumbine Theneechayakkam, Marangal Odunna Vazhiye and latest novel Margareeta. He received the prestigious Padmarajan Award in 2024 as well as the Nooranad Haneef Award 2024.

Kavya Ayyappan

A noted Malayalam author, Kavya Ayyappan began writing from her school days. She is a prominent contributor to the genre of Malayalam short stories. Her story, titled Aroopiyude Kannukal, was the winner of the 2023 Malayala Manorama Magazine Story Award and her story titled, Oravakkuthi, was awarded the First Prize in the 2021 Story Competition held as part of the Mathrubhumi Vishu Special Issue. Kavya Ayyapan also contributes stories to several leading contemporary publications. Idam is her published collection of short stories whereas Pandarathozuthu and Pathirathallu are the other acclaimed stories penned by her.

P K PARAKKADAVU

P K Parakkadavu is a renowned Malayalam author who has published around forty-six works. His works have also been translated into several languages like English, Arabic and various Indian languages. He is the recipient of several noted accolades such as the CV Sriraman Award, the Sahitya Academy Award for Overall Contributions, the Kerala Basha Institute’s Basheer Memorial Award, the S.B.T Award among others..He has served as an executive committee member of the Kerala Sahitya Academy, Samastha Kerala Sahitya Parishath, a member of the Kendra Sahitya Academy, as well as an editor and editorial relations director at Madhyamam Periodicals. Idiminnalukalude Pranayam, Meesan Kallukalude Kaval, Kadalinte Daham and Ambalam Palli Sthree are a few of his other renowned publications.

V Muzafar Ahamed

A prominent Malayalam author, V Muzafar Ahamed has penned 16 books in total. His areas of interest in writing include travel, literature, culture and the experiences of Gulf Expats. He is the recipient of several prestigious accolades such as the Kerala Sahitya Academy Award, the K V Surendranath Award and the Kamala Surayya Prathibha Award. V Muzafar Ahamed was a Senior Fellow of the Ministry of Culture. Marubhumiyude Athmakatha and Marumarangal are a few of his noted publications.

Jinsha Ganga

Jinsha Ganga is an acclaimed young author writing in Malayalam. She is an active contributor to several noted contemporary publications. Jinsha Ganga is the recipient of several prestigious accolades such as the Thakazhi Memorial Short-story Award, the Sreekantapuram Literature Award, the Joint Council State Award and the O V Vijayan Yuvadhara Award 2024, among others. Oda is her debut collection of short stories.

Subhash Chandran

Subhash Chandran is a noted Malayalam author. He is the recipient of several prestigious literary accolades such as the Kendra Sahitya Academy Award, the Kerala Sahitya Academy Award, the Vayalar Award, the Odakkuzhal Award and the Basheer Award, among others. The only Malayalam language author to be in the list of young native language writers by Times of India, he was also selected as one among the ten Personality Brands of Kerala by the Dhanam Finance Magazine. The translation of his work Manushyanu Oru Aamukham titled as A Preface to Man, received the Raymond Crossword Award. The novel has also been translated into Tamil, Telugu and Kannada. Khadikharangal Nilakkuna Samayam, Das Capital and Madhyeyingane are a few of his other acclaimed publications. A journalism faculty of the Calicut University, he also currently heads the Mathrubhumi Weekly.

Dr. AMAL PAUL

Dr. Amal Paul is an upcoming voice amongst Malayalam thriller novelists. The recipient of several art and literature accolades during his schooling years, he currently serves at the MOSC Medical Mission Hospital in Thrissur. He has numerous scientific research publications in the field of Cardiology, which have garnered citations from authors across the globe. Angina, a riveting medical crime thriller, is his debut novel.

Dr. Soumya Sarin

Dr. Soumya Sarin is an eminent Paediatrician, Neonatologist and author making medical knowledge accessible and understandable for the common people. Her special areas of interest are newborn care, newborn follow-up, growth and developmental assessment, routine and catch-up vaccinations, childhood nutrition, paediatric allergic issues and adolescent problems. Dr. Sarin was the national topper and the President’s Gold medal winner in Paediatrics in the post graduate examination held by the National Board of Examinations, India and is a member of the National Academy of Medical Sciences. Dr. Soumya is the recipient of the 2019 Indian Medical Association Award for the Best Social Media Activist and Influencer. She is the author of the widely popular book titled Docotre Njangade Kutty OK Ano? published by DC Books. Dr. Soumya Sarin currently serves as a Paediatric Specialist at the MedCare Multispecialty Hospital in Sharjah.

Jimshar P

Jimshar P is a noted Malayalam author. Bhoopadathilninnu Ninnu Kuzhichedutha Kurippukal, shortlisted as part of the DC Kizhakemuri Birth Centenary Novel Competition, is his debut novel. He is the recipient of the debut Literary Award instituted by the Malayalam University for his work Padachonte Chithrapradarshanam and the Ayyappapanikkar Award instituted by the MG University for his poem Daivathod. P Jimshar is also the recipient of the Special Jury Award instituted by the Kerala Women’s Studies Centre as part of its debut Female Short Film Festival for Ennilek, the short film that he has scripted and directed. A part of the film industry for ten years, he has also served as an Assistant Director in critically acclaimed films such as Enn Ninte Moitheen and Oru Murai Vanth Parthayo. His upcoming publication is titled Lailakkulsu.
