S R LAL

S R Lal is a renowned Malayalam author. Ernakulam SouthCoffeehouseKalivettamStatue P.O.Kunjunniyude Yathrapusthakam and Detective Ammu are a few of his acclaimed publications. He is the recipient of several prestigious accolades such as the Kendra Sahitya Academy Award, the Kerala Sahitya Academy Award, the Abu Dhabi Sakti Award and the Siddhartha Literary Award, among others. He currently serves as Editorial Assistant at Grandhalokam, the mouthpiece of the Kerala State Library Council. 

K Jayakumar

K Jayakumar is an acclaimed poet, translator and lyricist. He has authored 47 books including 14 anthologies of poems in Malayalam and English. His important translations into Malayalam include Gitanjali of Tagore, The Prophet of Kahlil Gibran and the poetry of Rumi. He has also translated the works of the famous author ONV Kurup’s poetry into English. He has retired from the Indian Administrative Service as the Chief Secretary of Kerala and also has served as the founding Vice Chancellor of Thunchath Ezhuthachan Malayalam University. He is the recipient of several awards that include the Kerala Sahitya Academy for overall contribution, the Kerala Sangeeta Nataka Academy for lyrics and the Central Sahitya Akademi award for poetry. Sancharathinte Sangeetham, Lalithajeevitham, Ode To Orpheus100 Kabir Kavithakal are some of his acclaimed works among others.

T D RAMAKRISHNAN

T D Ramakrishnan is a critically acclaimed author and translator. He is the author of two widely acclaimed Malayalam novels, namely, Francis Ittykora and Sugandhi Enna Andal Devanayaki. The English translation of the latter titled Sugandhi Alias Andal Deavanayaki was longlisted for the DSC South Asian Literature Prize 2019. He is the recipient of several prestigious literary accolades, such as the Kerala Sahitya Academy Award, the Vayalar Award. Also, the Basheer Award was instituted by the Kerala Bhasha Institute. Retiring from professional service as the Chief Controller of the Palakkad Division in the Southern Railway. He is also the recipient of the 2003 National Award for Outstanding Performance instituted by the Railway Ministry. Pacha, Manja, ChuvappuSirajunnisaMama Africa and Alpha are a few of his other notable publications. 

SHASHI THAROOR

Dr Shashi Tharoor, A fourth-term Member of Parliament for Thiruvananthapuram. Also is the bestselling author of twenty-six books, both fiction and non-fiction. He was also the former Under Secretary-General of the United Nations and a former Minister of State for Human Resource Development and for External Affairs in the Government of India. He has won numerous awards, including the Pravasi Bharatiya Samman, a Commonwealth Writers’ Prize and the Crossword Lifetime Achievement Award. In 2019, Dr. Tharoor was also awarded the Sahitya Akademi Award in the category of ‘English Non-Fiction’ for his book An Era of Darkness. He has previously chaired the Parliament’s Standing Committee on Chemicals and Fertilizers. As well as the Standing Committee on External Affairs and the Committee on Information Technology. A Wonderland of Words: Around the Word in 101 Essays is one among his recent publications.

BENYAMIN

Benyamin is an acclaimed author, best known for his magnum opus, Aadujeevitham. Several of his works have been translated into English. His work Jasmine Days has been translated into English by Shahnaz Habib. AbeeshaginManjaveyil MarangalPravachakanmarude Randam PusthakamMantharilile 20 Communist VarshangalTharakans Grandhavari and Al Arabian Novel Factory are some of his other esteemed works. His work Aadujeevitham earned him prestigious accolades such as the Kerala Sahitya Academy Award and the Abu Dhabi Sakti Award. Benyamin is the recipient of the debut JCB Prize for Literature for his novel Jasmine Days.

ZACHARIA

A distinguished writer and columnist, Zacharia is known for his works in both Malayalam and English. He has published over fifty works. And is backed with over twenty years of experience working in the Delhi Media and Publishing Industry. Zacharia is a Distinguished Fellow of the Kerala Sahitya Akademi and the recipient of several prestigious accolades such as the Kendra Sahitya Akademi Award, the Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award and the Ezuthachan Award for his contributions to Malayalam literature. Praise the LordAyyappathinthakathomOru African Yathra and Bhaskarapattelarum Ente Jeevithavum are a few of his renowned works. Parakkum Sthree, a collection of short stories, is one among his most recent publications.

M MUKUNDAN

M Mukundan is an esteemed author of Malayalam literature and a former diplomat. The author of the acclaimed novel Mayyazhipuzhayude Theerangalil. Ee Lokam, Athiloru ManushyanDaivathinte Vikrithikal and Keshavante Vilapangal are his other critically acclaimed works. Ningal, a novel, is his most recent publication. He is the recipient of several prestigious accolades such as the Kerala Sahitya Academy Award, the Vayalar Award, the ONV Award and the M P Paul Award, among others. He was the recipient of the insignia of Chevalier in the Order of Arts and Letters by the French government for his contributions to the field of literature. M Mukundan has also served as the President of the Kerala Sahitya Academy from 2006-2010. 

K SATCHIDANANDAN

An esteemed poet, K Satchidanandan is a paragon of excellence in the field of literature. His oeuvre spans across varied genres like poetry, drama, article and travelogue. Satchidanandan writes poetry and prose in both Malayalam and English. He has 24 collections of poetry to his credit besides four books of travel, a full length play and a collection of one-act plays, and many critical essays. He currently serves as the President of the Kerala Sahitya Academy. K Satchidanandan is the Festival Director of the Kerala Literature Festival (KLF) 2025. Dukham Enna VeeduIruttile PattukalPahadi oru Ragam MathramallaMarichupoya Muthashikku oru Kathu are a few of his works. K Satchidanandan is the recipient of several prestigious accolades like the Sahitya Akademi award, the Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award, the Ezhuthachan Award, the Vayalar Award, the UAE World Poetry Peace Prize and Knighthood from the Government of Italy. 

Santhosh Echikkanam

Santhosh Echikkanam is a prominent Indian writer and screenwriter in Malayalam cinema. He is known for his short stories, Komala and Biriyani and screenplays for films, Annayum Rasoolum and Bachelor Party. He has worked as a teacher at Durga Higher Secondary School, Kanhangad and was also associated with Akashvani. He has received the Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award for Story, Padmaprabha Literary Award, Karur Award, Pravasi Basheer Award among others.

K R MEERA

K R Meera is a distinguished author widely regarded as one of the leading voices in contemporary Malayalam literature. The English translation of Aarachar, titled Hangwoman, was shortlisted for the prestigious DSC Prize for South Asian Literature 2016. Her stories and novels have also been translated into several languages. Ave Maria, Qabar, Suryane Aninja Oru Sthree, Yudasinte Suvishesham and Bhagavante Maranam are a few of her other esteemed publications. The author of the critically acclaimed Aarachar, she is the recipient of several prestigious accolades such as the Kerala Sahitya Academy Award, the Kendra Sahitya Academy Award, the Vayalar Award, the Odakuzhal Award, the Geetha Hiranyan Award and the P Padmarajan Memorial Award, amongst others.
