PROF T. J. JOSEPH

Prof. T.J. Joseph was born on July 22, 1957, to Joseph and Elikutty. He studied at Pala St. Thomas College, Ernakulam Maharaja’s College, and Changanassery NSS Training College. Started his professional career as a teacher at Pavanatma College, Murikassery, in 1985. He has also served at Muvattupuzha Nirmala College and Thodupuzha Newman College.

In 2010, following the question paper controversy, he was attacked by religious fundamentalists. Subsequently, got dismissed from the college. Prof. Joseph, who returned to service on March 28, 2014, retired on March 31. His autobiography, Attupokatha Ormakkal, is translated into English as A Thousand Cuts.
