S. Gopalakrishnan writes in English and Malayalam publications. The series Jalarekhakal in Bhasha Poshini and Chevi Orkkumbol in Malayalam weekly are written by him. Rafeeq Ahammed
Rafeeq Ahammed, a Malayalam poet, lyricist and novelist, is regarded as the most successful and critically acclaimed lyricist of contemporary Malayalam cinema. He is a six-time winner of Kerala State Film Award for Best Lyrics and has won several literary and film awards including the Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award in 2006 for his poetic work, Aalmara. His recent publication is a poem titled Pramukthan.
Sithara S
Sithara S is a short story writer. Her major works are Idam, Agniyum Kathakalum, Veyilil Oru Kaiyezhuthukari, Nrithashala, and Veshapakarcha. She has translated Malala Yousafzai’s We Are Displaced into Malayalam as Enteyum Katha and published by DC Books. She has won many awards and accolades for her writings including the Kerala Sahitya Akademi Gita Hiranyan Award and Sahitya Akademi Golden Jubilee Prize. Amlam is her recent work.
P K Rajasekharan
P. K Rajasekharan is a literary critic and journalist. He won the Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award for the critical study, Pithrukhadikaram: O. V. Vijayante Kalayum Darshanavum in 1997. His notable works are Andhanaya Daivam: Malayala Novalinte Nooru Varshangal, Ekantha Nagarangal: Utharadhunika Malayala Sahithyathinte Saundarya Shasthram, and Bookstalgia. Rajasekharan is the editor of the titles published by DC Books, such as 100 Varsham 100 Kavitha, Mahacharithamala, and O. V. Vijayan Ormapusthakam.
Bipin Chandran
Bipin Chandran stands is a distinguished writer, screenwriter, and actor who has made significant contributions to Malayalam cinema. An author, his literary repertoire includes Mammootty: Kazhchayum Vayanayum, Kriyaathmaka Jeevithathilekku Pathu Chuvadukal, Maayude Kathukal and Irattachanku among others. Furthermore, he has made significant contributions to prominent publications such as IE Malayalam and Manorama Online. He is the recipient of several prestigious accolades such as the Kolkata Kairali Thunchan Memorial Story Award, the Thakazhi Short Story Award, the Basheer Short Story Award instituted by the Information and Public Relations Department and the V P Manoharan Memorial Story Award, among others. Kule is his first published collection of short stories.
Ajijesh Pachat
Ajijesh Pachat is a renowned author from Malappuram writing in Malayalam. He has written various novels, short stories and memoirs. His wide array of awards includes the Anganam E.P Sushama Endowment Award, the P.N Panicker Story Award, the Aziz Memorial Story Award, the Sahitya Academy Geethahiranyan Endowment among others. Indu Menon
Indu Menon is a renowned creative writer and sociologist. Her works have been included in university syllabi and translated to English, German, Arabic, Tamil, Hindi and Telugu. She is the recipient of several state, national and international awards. A regular contributor to popular periodicals in Malayalam for more than 30 years, she has extensive experience in anthropological research and investigation, training and museum research, particularly in shamanism, social organization, tribal language, myths etc. Her works include three novels, seven short story collections, four memoirs, two poetry collections, two translations, one monograph and six edited works. Annavetta, Ente Katha Ente Pennungaludeyum, The Lesbian Cow And Other Stories and Janafres: Oru Kodiya Kamukan are a few among her wide array of publications. Indu Menon is currently a lecturer of Anthropology/Sociology at the Kerala Institute of Research, Training and Development Studies of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (KIRTADS), a Government of Kerala Research Institute.
