K Jayakumar
K Jayakumar is an acclaimed poet, translator and lyricist. He has authored 47 books including 14 anthologies of poems in Malayalam and English. His important translations into Malayalam include Gitanjali of Tagore, The Prophet of Kahlil Gibran and the poetry of Rumi. He has also translated the works of the famous author ONV Kurup’s poetry into English. He has retired from the Indian Administrative Service as the Chief Secretary of Kerala and also has served as the founding Vice Chancellor of Thunchath Ezhuthachan Malayalam University. He is the recipient of several awards that include the Kerala Sahitya Academy for overall contribution, the Kerala Sangeeta Nataka Academy for lyrics and the Central Sahitya Akademi award for poetry. Sancharathinte Sangeetham, Lalithajeevitham, Ode To Orpheus, 100 Kabir Kavithakal are some of his acclaimed works among others.
Manoj Vellanad
Manoj Vellanad is a distinguished consultant neurosurgeon at the Shree Uthradam Thirunal (SUT) Hospital at Pattom in Thiruvananthapuram. He has cultivated a multifaceted career as a Malayalam short story writer and a passionate science enthusiast, contributing significantly to both fields. His major recognitions include the Thakazhi Story Award, the CV Sreeraman Story Award, The Golden Cat Literary Award, the Keli Sahitya Award and the Cycle Young Literary Award, among others. Manoj has authored three books, namely, Venus Flytrap, a collection of short stories, Einsteinte Thalachor, a compilation of science articles, and Udalvedam, another short story collection.
Miriam Joseph
Miriam Joseph is a seasoned producer and former journalist backed with 35 years of media experience. Working for international broadcasters like the BBC and Channel 4, she travelled the world covering varied beats and interviewing famous personalities like Mikhail Gorbachev, Margaret Thatcher and Capt. Lakshmi Sahgal. She moved to India in 2002 and soon joined Excel Entertainment in Mumbai, first as an Executive Producer and then as the CEO. Miriam is a consultant to the National Film Development Corporation (NFDC) & its Film Bazaar. A visiting lecturer at a number of film schools, she was instrumental in setting up India’s first ever Producing Course at the Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute and helped in designing its syllabus and curriculum.
