P. S. Rafeeq is a noted screenwriter, story writer and lyricist. He was born in 1978 in Kodungallur Eriyad to Palliparambil Seithu and Kunjibeevathu in Kolli. His spouse Shahana and their children are Ashna and Isha. His books include Saddaminte Barber (a collection of short stories) and Amen (a screenplay). He has written the screenplays for the films Nayakan, Amen, Utopiayile Rajavu, Thrissivaperoor Kliptham and Thottappan. He has received several awards for his stories.
