R.K. Bijuraj was born in 1977 in Pinarayi, near Thalassery, to M.R. Radhakrishna Menon and K. Sarojini. He is a journalist and translator. He has a postgraduate degree in history and commerce and a postgraduate diploma in journalism. He is currently the chief sub-editor of the weekly Madhyamam.
