Ajai P Mangattu
Ajai P Mangattu is a prominent bilingual author and translator. His debut novel is titled Susannayude Granthappura. Deham and Moonu Kallukal are the other novels penned by him. He is the author of literary criticisms titled Noam Chomsky: Daishanika Jeevacharithram, Ekanthathayude Puravrutham, Lokam Avasanikunilla, Paravayude Swathanthryam, and a study titled Hridayasallapam. He has translated into Malayalam such works as Night by Elie Wiesel, Ambedkar: Towards an Enlightened India by Gail Omvedt, The Forty Rules of Love by Elif Shafak, and Derida: Islam and the West. Ajai P Mangattu studied B.A. at Mar Athanasius College, Kothamangalam, and M.A. in English language and Literature at Maharaja’s College, Ernakulam later took a PG Diploma in Journalism and Communication from Kerala Media Academy . He currently serves as an Assistant Editor at Malayala Manorama.
