The story ‘Ambalappuzha Sisters‘ is included in the MA Malayalam syllabus of Thunchathezhuthachchan Malayalam University, and the story ‘Antarvahini‘ is included in the BA Malayalam syllabus of MG University.

He has won the Mathrubhumi Vishupathip Katha Sammanam, the Kerala State Chalachitra Academy Short Screenplay Award, etc. He is the director of the film ‘Oru Barberinte Katha‘, a production venture of the State Chalachitra Academy. DC Books published ‘Kalodinja Punyalan‘, which is the first collection of stories. The book won the Ayanam – CV Sreeraman Story Award, the Udaya Literary Award, and the first TN Prakash Literary Award.
