ABRAHAM MATHEW
Abraham Mathew is a Notable Malayalam story writer, novelist, and visual journalist. He was born in Punalur, Kollam district. He has completed his graduation from Sree Narayana College. He has worked as a journalist at Mathrubhumi and as an associate editor at Kairali TV. He retired as the Chief Sub-Editor of Mathrubhumi. He has worked as an Associate Editor at Kairali Channel. He is currently working as the Kerala State Book Mark Secretary. His main works include Kinavinte Ira, Nityavismayanidra, Jaati Jaati Odu Parayunath, Aasakhtiyute Ambalukal, Karuta Chembarathi (Children’s Literature) and Kumbasaram (Television Interviews). Apart from these, he has authored Novels like Vayalile Poovu Pole, Sandhyayil Karachil Vannu Raparkunnu and eight collections of stories, including Floridayile Chethukaran. He is a recipient of the State Award for Best Television Reporter and the S.K. Pottekatt Memorial Award for Short Story.
