Author Award: ONV Award

M Mukundan is an esteemed author of Malayalam literature and a former diplomat. The author of the acclaimed novel Mayyazhipuzhayude Theerangalil, he is the recipient of several prestigious accolades such as the Kerala Sahitya Academy Award, the Vayalar Award, the ONV Award and the M P Paul Award, among others. He was presented with the insignia of Chevalier in the Order of Arts and Letters by the French government for his contributions to the field of literature. M Mukundan has also served as the President of the Kerala Sahitya Academy from 2006-2010. Ee Lokam, Athiloru Manushyan; Daivathinte Vikrithikal and Keshavante Vilapangal are his other critically acclaimed works. Ningal, a novel, is his most recent publication.
