PRIYA A.S

Priya A. S. was born in Eramallur, Cherthala. Assistant Section Officer at Cochin University of Science and Technology. Her debut work is a collection of short stories titled Ororo Thirivukal. She is the recipient of many awards. Manjamaramangal Chuttilum won the Lalithambika Antharjanam Award for Young Writer and the Jagarooka Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award. Chitrashalabhangalude Veedu (Sri Padmanabhaswamy Endowment), Ammenkunjunneem Kunjunneemammem (Siddharth Balasahithya Puraskaram) Perumazhayathe Kunjithalukal (Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award for Children’s Literature, 2020). She has translated Arundhati Roy’s famous work The God of Small Things into Malayalam, titled as Kunjukaryangalude Odethampuran (Kendra Sahitya Akademi Award for Translation). And has translated Jayashree Mishra’s Ancient Promises Janmantharavagdanangal (V. K. Unnikrishnan Memorial Award). Her other works include Violet Poochakalku Shoo Vekkan Thonnumbol, Priya A.Sinte Kathakal, Pookathirikan Ennik Avathille, Ammenkunjunnim Mookurummi Mookurummi, Kathakathapinekili, Ente Neelapoovinu Enthupatti? LAKSHMIDEVI

Lakshmidevi is the daughter of the late Dr K. Velayudhan Nair and poet Sugatha Kumari. She completed her postgraduate degree and M.Phil in Psychology from the University of Kerala. She has published poetry collections, including Irulchinthukal, Meghajwala, and Uppupavakal. She has received the Kunchu Pillai Award (1995), the Lalithambika Antharjanam Memorial Award for Young Writers (1998) and the Venmani Memorial Award (2011). He also authored Kolusaniyatta Mazha

GRACY

Gracie published her first collection of stories, Padiyandalpoya Parvathy, in 1991. Many of her stories have been translated into English, as well as into Kannada and Tamil. She has now published two collections of stories in Tamil, namely Ipot Panikalam and Nachathirankkal Veelum Nerath. The Dakshina Bharata Hindi Prachar Sabha has published a collection of twenty stories titled Gracie Ki Kahani. The collection of stories, Padiyandalpoya Parvathy, has been translated into the Kannada language. She has received the Lalithambika Antharjanam Award for Women Writers in 1995, the Thoppil Ravi Award in 1997, the Katha Award for Best Malayalam Story (Delhi) in 1998, the Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award in 2000, the Gurudakshina Puraskar in 2019, and the Kendra Sahitya Akademi’s Children’s Literature Award in 2020. Her works include Udalvazhikal Gracy, Gracyude Kathakal, etc.
