VENUGOPALAN KOKKODAN

Venugopalan Kokkodan was born in 1972 in Kanjileri near Malur in Kannur district and grew up in Eruvatty, between Thalassery and Koothuparamba. His parents are Thevarathil Kunjikannan and Mangalat Kanchanavalli. Jisha is his spouse, and their children are Parvati and Devaki. After completing his high school education in Ponniam Chundangapoyil, he studied at Nirmalagiri College, Koothuparamba ITI, and Kannur Polytechnic. He then worked in Mumbai for about ten years. He obtained a diploma in computer engineering from CMS Institute, Mumbai. After short stints in the Middle East and London, he has been living in Virginia, USA, since 2004, working as a software engineer. He used to write poems and stories during his studies.
