K.G. Suraj was born on 24 October 1977 in Vattiyoorkavu, Thiruvananthapuram district. His parents are Prof. K.N. Gangadharan and Adv. Rukmini Gangadharan. He completed his schooling at Government Model L.P. School, Government Model High School, Mar Ivanios College, University College, Karyavattom Campus, Institute of Journalism, Thiruvananthapuram. Secured a postgraduate degree in Political Science and P.G. Diploma in Journalism. He is the Chief Editor of Aksharam Magazine. First collection of poems ‘Ilayude Desadanam‘, his other works include Pralayathinte Manifesto.
