RAJEEVAN T. P
T.P. Rajeevan (1959–2022) was born on 30 June 1959 in Paleri, a hill village in Kozhikode district. His works include Vathil, Rashtriyatantram, Koritharichanaal, Purapettu Pokunna Vaaku, Athe Aakasham Athe Bhoomi, Virunnu Vanna Vakku, Paleri Manikyam: Oru Pathirakolapathakathinte Katha. Pranayasathakam, Dheerkhakaalam, K.T.N. Kottoor – Ezhuthum and Jeevithavum, Undying echos of Silence (Novel), He who was gone thus, Kannaki (Poems), Third Word; Post Socialist Poetry (Editor).
Poems were translated into 14 languages, was awarded the International Visitor Fellowship of the US Department of State (2004). The Honorary Fellow in Writing degree of the University of Iowa. The Writer-in-Residence Fellowship of the Leading House Foundation in New York. The Rockefeller Foundation Fellowship, and the Shanghai Writers Association Fellowship. He passed away on November 2, 2022.
