A. M. BASHEER

A.M. Basheer is the son of Machad Ammanath Moidhunni and Havvavumma Hajjumma in Vadakkancherry, Thrissur. While working as an advocate in Vadakkancherry, he was appointed as a Judicial First Class Magistrate in 2002. He worked in Ernakulam, Kozhikode, Thiruvananthapuram, Changanassery, Alappuzha and Kollam. Worked as a District Judge in Thiruvananthapuram and Kollam. He is currently the Secretary of the Kerala Legislative Assembly. His other works are Uruppa, Pacha Manushwa, Riot Widows (novel), Oru Porali Janinku (collection of stories), Jamra (travel literature), Themis, Roaming Roma and ‘J’ case (Case study).
