We Need Novels Like This!
Speakers K N Prasanth and Dr P Suresh discussed Prasanth’s novel “Ponam,” which was inspired by the Kasaragod natives, during a session at the Kerala Literature Festival.Uchiri, Chiruda, Parvathy, and Ramya are a few of the major female characters in this novel. This novel also shows the cruelty and sexuality of people, like in the times of the cavemen. The use of the “thullu” language enhanced the beauty of this novel.
The writer also talked briefly about the upcoming novel and autobiography.
