Parukutty Neithyaramma: A Visionary

During one session of the Kerala Literature Festival, Raghu Palat, the great-grandson of Parukutty Neithyaramma, one of the most powerful rulers of the kingdom of Cochin, and his wife, Pushpa Palat, talked about the epic biography of Parukutty, which they wrote together.

The extraordinary life of Parukutty was analyzed. Raghu Palat shared his golden memories with Neithyaramma while also talking about the challenges and experiences he had while writing the book. He said that during the research for the book, he himself found his roots. The revolutionary life of Neithyaramma, who always stood up for the empowerment of girls and contributed major infrastructure development to Thrissur, is truly inspirational.
