From Public Spaces to My/Our Spaces

Architectures Vinod Cyriac, Ganga Dileep, politician Pradeep Kumar, and moderator Brijesh Shaijal discussed the need for better public spaces, including their designs, governance, and awareness, at a session at KLF 2023. Pradeep Kumar talked about the need for both politicians and the public to have a proper awareness of public spaces. Creative inventions must be created in order to arise and to define the uniqueness of particular spaces. The speakers expect that there will be progress by seeing social life in its entirety. The interactive session concluded with the heartfelt note that even the term “public spaces” has to be changed to “my space” or “our space.”
