Aesthetic Art and Philosophy

Speakers Manoj Kuroor and Prof. M. V. Narayanan held a conversation at the Kerala Literature Festival about the traditional cultures of Indian beauty science. Poetics and Aesthetics were also topics of discussion.

The concept of aesthetic science started in the 18th century. It was made clear in the introductory lines that the Indian aesthetic and wisdom are connected to each other and that aesthetics have not been used in the Indian realm. As the discussion went on smoothly, Dr. Narayanan clarified the concept of poetic arts and beauty.
